The Challenge

Republic TV wanted to push out real-time result updates for different states in the most engaging way possible. Plus they also wanted to explore a way to showcase Twitter reactions around the country in the form of videos, and hence, turned to InVideo to explore ways to do the same.

The Solution

Considering that the result numbers were supposed to be pushed out in almost real-time on the day of results, we ideated and designed a custom workflow for the team so that they could push out these videos every 5-10 mins.

The Execution

A motion background based template was designed in sync with the theme of elections, so that team would just have to focus on changing the numbers and the state map. Also, the state maps were already included in the media library for quick search.

We also made sure the videos didn’t take anything longer than 5 mins by scaling our servers on the day of the results.

Last but not the least, we wanted to ensure complete last mile support for the team and hence had a dedicated video expert work with the team on the day to ensure minimum friction

The Impact

The team was able to create more than 45 high impact videos within a few hours and was able to delight its users on Twitter.
