The no.1 English news channel of India. They partnered with InVideo to enable their viewers to watch all the news stories on the go.

InVideo and Republic TV are now working towards changing the face of the videos being shared by news channels on digital platforms.

Republic TV became the most-watched English news channel in India in its first week of airing with 2.11 million impressions and accounted for 51.9 percent viewership as per data released for the week by the Broadcast Audience Research Council. 

Being passionate about bringing upcoming talent to the forefront, Republic TV became one of the earliest clients of InVideo.

Republic TV, being a young and enthusiastic brand, are pioneers in the field of digital news.

They wanted to enable their viewers to watch all the news stories on the go. To do this, they teamed up with InVideo to come up with a solution that was quick, easy and cost-effective.

Challenges

Republic TV wanted to create a video for every kind of news story, like :

•  Daily wrap  – a summary of the most important stories of the day

•  Breaking news stories

Eternal content stories: travel, food, music, books 

 Vertical and horizontal videos 

All of these videos had to be created in as less time as possible to reach a broader audience quickly. This also meant the videos had to be made available in languages other than English.

Execution

InVideo created a variety of templates for all the different stories that Republic TV covers on all their digital platforms. This made sure that every category of videos had a different feel to it. The designs of the videos were kept in line with the brand’s identity.

To make the process as seamless and as effortless as possible, three significant steps were taken:

Extensive Training  was provided to a targeted group of individuals

• End-to-end support (online and offline) was provided to get the videos out on time

  Integrated API with the CMS of Republic TV which enabled their team to push the videos online as soon as they created.
