Can ChatGPT add animated titles and subtitles to my editing timeline?

Last updated October 6, 2026

Yes. With access to your editor’s text and animation controls through MCP, ChatGPT can add titles, animate their appearance, and create subtitles from the dialogue.

Describe how the text should look and behave. For example:

“Add ‘Setting up your first project’ over the opening shot. Fade it in and out before the demonstration, then subtitle the dialogue without covering the presenter’s face.”

You can request changes to the wording, placement, styling, or timing as you review the video.

In invideo Editor, ChatGPT creates these elements directly on your timeline and can use keyframe controls to animate titles. Both titles and subtitles remain manually editable. These editing tasks do not consume invideo credits; ChatGPT’s own usage allowance applies separately.
