Describe a look or share a reference. The invideo agent inside invideo Editor builds the effect on your footage, with manual controls to refine the result and editable-project export to Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.
invideo introduces Agentic Effects in invideo Editor, letting editors delegate the technical work of building visual effects while retaining creative direction and professional manual control.
Editors can bring existing footage, describe a treatment or share a reference. The agent builds the effect on the timeline, where they can review the result, request changes and finish it by hand.
From creative direction to an editable effect
Knowing the look you want does not always mean knowing how to build it. A treatment may require unfamiliar tools, multiple layers or custom code. Agentic Effects lets editors begin with the visual idea and hand the construction to the agent.
Directional highlight trails are one example. An editor can ask for bright lights to stretch into soft trails, specify their direction and describe what should remain unchanged in the shot.
The agent applies the treatment to the existing footage. Controls can include trail length, direction, highlight threshold and mix, allowing the editor to shorten the trails or soften the result without generating replacement footage. Available controls depend on the effect created.
The workflow keeps creative decisions with the editor: describe the intention, review what the agent builds and shape the final look.
Professional manual control throughout
Agentic Effects sits inside invideo Editor’s professional editing environment. The agent works on the same multitrack timeline the editor controls, alongside frame-accurate editing, keyframes, compositing and colour tools.
Editors can move between delegation and hands-on work throughout a project. Ask the agent to build a treatment, direct a revision, then adjust the available parameters manually. Trim the shot, change its timing, refine the grade and judge the effect in the context of the sequence.
The manual editor is where those choices come together. It gives editors a place to inspect the agent’s work and finish the edit with precision.
Continue in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
The workflow can continue beyond invideo.
Editors can export an editable project to Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro, carrying cuts and layers into their preferred finishing environment. They can delegate work to the invideo agent, refine it within invideo Editor and hand the project onward for further editing.
Custom-effect compatibility depends on the destination editor; editable-project export does not guarantee that every effect transfers unchanged.
Effects and generation in one workspace
invideo supports both adjustable timeline effects and generative transformations.
Timeline effects apply processing or layers to existing footage, with exposed parameters available for direct adjustment. Generative transformations produce new footage through an available model. The resulting clip remains editable on the timeline, although changes within its imagery may require another generation.
Editors can also combine generated elements with timeline effects and refine their arrangement, timing and compositing in the same project.
Bring your footage to invideo Editor and describe or reference the look you want. Delegate the construction, direct the result and finish the edit with the controls—and the professional editing workflow—you choose.
