Quick start

    Open Claude

    Sign in at claude.ai, or in Claude Desktop

Tips for success

  • If Claude doesn't reach for invideo, check it's on under + > Connectors in the chat
  • Keep the editor link open to watch each edit as it happens
  • You can edit the timeline yourself while Claude works
  • Agree on the script first, then ask Claude to build the cut

Frequently asked questions

How do I add invideo to Claude?

Click the connector button in the quick start above. It opens Claude's custom connector dialog with invideo's server filled in. Add it, then sign in with your invideo account. There's no API key to copy.

Does it work on the Free plan?

Yes. Custom connectors work on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise plans. Free accounts can add one custom connector.

How do I add it for my Team or Enterprise workspace?

An Owner adds invideo in Organization settings > Connectors with the URL https://mcp.invideo.io/mcp. Members then click Connect in Customize > Connectors and sign in with invideo.

Do I need an invideo account?

Yes. You sign in with an invideo account when you connect, and you can create one during sign-in.

Troubleshooting

Issue:Claude doesn't use invideo

Solution:Click + in the chat, open Connectors and make sure invideo is on.

Issue:You can't add another custom connector

Solution:Free accounts can add one custom connector. Remove the one you have in Customize > Connectors, or upgrade your plan.

Issue:Sign-in to invideo keeps failing

Solution:Remove invideo in Customize > Connectors, add it again with the connector button from the quick start, then sign in with your invideo account.
