Can I adjust an AI-created video effect without regenerating the clip?

Yes—when the result is built as an editable timeline effect. The invideo agent inside invideo Editor can create effects with controls you can adjust directly, so changing their exposed parameters does not require generating replacement footage.
For a highlight-trail effect, those controls can include threshold, softness, trail length, direction and mix. You might shorten the trails or reduce the mix after seeing how the treatment works with the surrounding shots.
You can ask the agent to make the revision or use the manual controls yourself. Supported effect parameters can also be animated with keyframes when the look needs to change during the shot.
The distinction matters for generative video-to-video results. You can trim, reposition, retime and layer a generated clip, but an object or texture inside that clip is not automatically a separate editable element. Changing it may require another generation.
