Can I make changes to an extended clip, or do I need to generate it again?

Yes. Once an extension is on your invideo Editor timeline, you can trim and reposition the footage, adjust its relationship to surrounding shots, and refine the separate audio layers without generating the footage again.
For example, you can shorten an extended ending or lower its audio to fit your sequence.
Changing what happens inside the generated footage—such as a character’s action or expression—requires regeneration. You can ask your editing agent to generate another continuation, then continue editing the result with the editor’s manual controls.
