Agentic Video Editing

Can AI recreate an effect I saw in another video?

Last updated September 30, 2026

Yes. The invideo agent inside invideo Editor can use a reference video to understand a visual effect and build a similar treatment on your footage. The result may use adjustable timeline effects, generated elements or both.

Point to the specific moment and explain what you want to carry over. For example: “Recreate the streaking highlights at this timestamp, but use shorter trails and keep my existing colours.”

The agent handles interpreting the reference and building the treatment. You can then direct changes or refine the available effect controls, layer opacity and timing yourself. Your footage’s lighting and composition affect how closely the look translates.

A reference is useful for showing behaviour that is difficult to name, such as how an effect spreads, fades or responds to highlights. It does not guarantee an identical result on a different shot.
