Invideo Agent Two- Expert Agents

Invideo today introduced Expert Agents in Agent Two: a specialised creative crew of AI agents, trained on real creative expertise. Filmmakers name the role, a creative director, a director of photography, a storyboard artist, and it is filled by an agent that takes on that discipline with full knowledge of the project.

The principle is borrowed from every real set: you hire experts. A focused agent with one tight role performs better than a general one juggling everything, and Agent Two now lets filmmakers build their crew the same way, one specialist at a time.

What makes it a crew rather than a collection of tools is that the agents talk to each other, independently and in parallel. Filmmakers are no longer briefing each agent one by one; they are running a crew, exactly like on set. Updates, handoffs, and statuses move between agents without the filmmaker carrying messages. Tell the DOP agent to start shot four, and it gets the full lowdown from the storyboard artist, the casting director, and the costume stylist before it begins building.

The same holds when the crew grows. Add a VFX artist halfway through a film, and instead of re-explaining the entire project from scratch, the lead agent briefs them: the look of the film, the scenes that need work, what is locked and what is still open. The new agent walks on set already knowing the film.

Direction cascades the way it does through real departments. A new idea for an older scene goes to the assistant, and the brief moves through the crew: script rewrites the dialogue, costume reworks the look, lighting resets the mood. Every department updates without the filmmaker repeating themselves. And a single question, “what's the update?”, returns one answer covering every department: script locked, casting has options, costume waiting on a decision.

Filmmakers can still talk to any agent directly, at any time, or work with just one. The structure is there when the work needs it, invisible when it does not.

And the crew is not only agents. With Multi-player, filmmakers bring their actual human crew into the same project: collaborators join the same Context, work from the same Briefs, and direct expert agents of their own. invideo's goal is more creative jobs, not fewer. Expert Agents exist to make small crews capable of bigger work, and to sit beside human collaborators, not in place of them.

“The first time my storyboard artist briefed my DOP without me, I sat back and watched my film move on its own,” said Pavithra Prakash, Resident Filmmaker, invideo. “Every director knows that feeling from a real set, the moment the crew takes your vision and runs with it. Now it happens on screen, with a crew I named into existence an hour earlier. That is when this stopped feeling like software and started feeling like a set.”

“On a set, nobody expects one person to be the DOP, the casting director, and the editor at once, and we stopped expecting it of the agent,” said Raj Rajhans, Product Engineer, invideo. “A specialist with one tight role and full knowledge of the project will beat a generalist every time. The real work was getting the specialists to brief each other, because that is the difference between a set of tools and a crew.”

Expert Agents build on the identity foundation introduced with Agent Intelligence: every agent's responses pass through the role it has been given, from its first message. Expert agents, now in conversation.
