Introducing Workflows - invideo Agent Two

Invideo today introduced Workflows in Agent Two: guided runs that take a filmmaker through an entire job, start to finish, with the agent leading the way. Pick the workflow, answer its questions, upload your references, choose between the options it brings back, and come out the other side with the job done. No briefing the agent through every step. You pick the workflow, it asks the questions, and you get the output.

Agent Two launches with nine workflows, unlocked by invideo's research desk, and the desk keeps unlocking more. They split into two buckets.

Filmmaking workflows:

Casting. Hand over a script or a bible and the agent reads every character on the page: who they are, where they are from, what they should look like. It helps build each face, creates the character sheets, and once the cast is locked, goes one step further: it breaks down the script for every costume required and locks those too. Finally, it generates a voice for each character and adds it to Context, so any future run that needs that character's voice already has it.

Reference Research. Every project starts with referencing, and this workflow does the pulling. Ask for references on lighting or location for a film; for a photo shoot, it brings back poses and characters. Whatever the creative needs looked at, the workflow surfaces it.

Production Design. The same breakdown discipline as casting, applied to the world of the film: the agent works through the script and builds the production design and every environment.

Storyboarding. Start with the script, choose the style, ultra-realistic or sketch, and the agent works the shot breakdown with you along the way. What comes out is a full storyboard in the aspect ratio of the actual film.

Marketing workflows:

Ad KV Variations. Lock the key visual for a campaign and plug it in. The agent studies it and proposes the adapts it can build: the actor in a sandstorm, in a desert, in a city at night. Or hand it your own brief and a count. It generates the set, offers close-ups of the product in each setting and the actor in different poses, and you pick what you like.

Localisation. Bring in any creative and the agent asks which markets it is for, and it asks properly: say French, and it wants to know France, Quebec, or Francophone Africa. Once language and region are locked, the strategic calls are yours: translate the text, transliterate it, swap the currency, or culturally adapt the whole creative, cast included, to the geography.

PDP Assets. Give it a script, or build one with it, and the workflow produces the entire product display page video.

Campaign Transfer. Pull in a set of reference campaigns and the agent breaks down the brand DNA inside them, then rebuilds that campaign language around your own product and catalog.

Reframing. The oldest client ask in the business: this 16:9 needs to be a 9:16. Input the shots and the agent suggests how it wants to extend each frame, then works with you until the extension is right. Extensions are built as images first and approved before anything is generated as video, so credits go into shots that are already right.

Filmmakers can also build their own. Define a sequence of steps for the agent to follow, direct it to save the sequence as a markdown file, and that workflow attaches to any future project that needs it. A team's method becomes a file the agent runs.

"Workflows are the easiest, most seamless way to get a job done in the agent," said Nishant T, Chief Creative Technologist, invideo. "Instead of briefing the agent through every step, it takes you on a guided run. You answer some questions, upload some references, pick between options, and you come out the other side with your casting done. And the agent suggests, but you decide, at every step."

Workflows carry the same principle as Playbooks, extended from rules to jobs: the method is defined once, and the agent runs it every time, in your process, to your standard.

Workflows are live now for all Agent Two users at invideo.io. Tell us in the comments which workflow you want built next; the most-liked request gets built by the team.
