How do you iteratively restyle a room scene in an AI video editor?

Step 1 — Lock the style direction with image drafts before spending video generations. Generate room-style options as stills with Nano Banana 2 Lite at 3 cents per image and roughly 4-second generation — at that price, generating 10 directions instead of one is the rational default. Pick the winning look, escalate only that direction to video, and route any final hero frames to Nano Banana Pro if they need top-tier quality.

Step 2 — Restyle element by element with precision editing. Step 5 — Iterate cheap, upscale once. Run all test passes at the 720p default; upscaling to 1080p costs nothing, while 4K costs the equivalent of a full generation — so pay for 4K only on the final approved pass. Clip lengths come in 4, 6, 8, and 10 seconds, so run style tests on the shortest segment that shows the room before committing to longer generations.

Two caveats for the loop. Keep camera direction fixed between passes: camera angle prompting in Omni is hit-or-miss, and failed angle changes tend to distort scene geography rather than just the angle — a restyle pass and an angle change should never share a generation.
