How Do Credits Work?

What is a credit?

Credits work like currency on invideo. They're used for video creation, generative models, and premium features. Every paid plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets each billing cycle.

What can I spend credits on?

• Video generation — all supported video models at their original API pricing.
• Generative models — premium image, audio, and agent workflows not covered by Unlimited.
• Additional premium features — certain workflows may charge credits per use.

You're not charged credits for downloading content you've already generated, for editing existing videos, or for image generations on plans that include Unlimited.

When do credits reset?

Your credit allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle, which begins on the day you subscribed (not the first of the calendar month). For example, if you subscribed on the 14th, your credits reset on the 14th of every month.

Am I charged per generation?

Yes. Credits are charged differently for video creation, generative models, and premium features. The cost depends on the model, the output length, and the resolution. You can see the credit cost before you confirm each generation.

What if I run out of credits mid-cycle?

You have two options: upgrade your plan for a higher monthly allowance, or buy a one-time credit pack. Purchased credit packs are added instantly and can be used across all features. See Purchasing Extra Credits for details.
