How do you maintain consistent motion style and pacing across all clips in an AI video campaign?

Lock motion style and pacing the same way you lock characters: build a motion bible up front. Approve one hero clip whose camera move, speed, and beat length define the campaign, then reuse its motion descriptors as a fixed prompt block on every subsequent generation, chain clips by last-frame, and route every shot through the same video model.

Start by generating and approving ONE hero clip — the shot whose motion you want the rest of the campaign to inherit. Treat that clip as the campaign's motion anchor and extract its motion descriptors into a short, fixed prompt block you paste into every subsequent generation: camera move (e.g. "slow 15% push-in"), speed/easing ("ease-out, no whip"), parallax behavior, hold length at peak, and intended cut point ("2-second hold, cut on motion"). Scene content varies; that block does not.

Lock each shot's opening keyframe as a still, confirm the framing matches the motion bible's intended starting composition, and only then spend video credits animating it — "I only spent video credits on locked frames." This keeps pacing decisions cheap because you're judging timing on locked frames before the model commits to a motion render.

For pacing specifically, lock the beat structure in your shot breakdown before any video generation begins: per-shot duration, where the cut falls, and what the motion is doing at the cut. Across documented productions, clip durations cluster at 4–5 seconds per generated clip with Seedance 2.0 capped at 15 seconds per pass, so plan the edit rhythm around those units — if your campaign cuts every 1.2 seconds, generate longer clips than needed and cut to the beat in your edit tool, where you control the final pacing absolutely.
